Summer, as it were. If an extremely mild May followed by a mostly monsoon June counts as “summer,” which I’ve hereby decided it does, especially because it’s supposed to be in the upper 80s (and 90s!) for the next two weeks.*

*For the record, 90 is much too hot for my delicate (pasty white skin, yes, and) sensibilities. I’m a huge fan of moderate-to-cooler temperatures pretty much always, hence me (loving) living in this particular city in this particular state.
Stay cool, kids.
Love these photos! They all really “feel” like summer.
As a fellow pasty blogger, I agree with you whole-heartedly. And hoy, I love your photos so much, so so much. That is all. x
I want that big ol’ hat!
So! So! So! Excited for summer weather. Although, for it not being super hot (read: over 100 which is the weather I grew up with) it’s been nice to sit in the sun and tan.
Which I think I will go laze in some sun right now. :)
This made my heart fill with YAY.
Pretty pictures! Also your dog looks like a pretty awesome dude.
90 is way too hot for me too! It’ was between 90 – 100 on our holiday weekend and I almost melted. True story.
I love your photography so much :)
Among other things, what I’m taking from this is that Iggy is one seriously content pug.
——–
His life is so hard, right? Just wait until you see him on Cannon Beach with Angella and her kids. He will be entering the seventh realm of Pug Heaven.
LOL I look like such a dork. “HI I LOVE MOUSTACHE CUPCAKES ALSO MY SMILE IS KIND OF FAKE BUT HEY YUMMY CUPCAKE!”
I am with you on the temperatures – my ideal temperature is like 74 with a breeze. Once it hits upper 70s I start getting uncomfortable and 90+ is just MISERABLE. (Yesterday I told Daniel “It’s so damn hot” and then “milk was a bad choice” and laughed hysterically because Wesley was eating at the time.)
Also (probably like you) I burn super easily so I have given up on tanning entirely and have embraced my pasty white skin. I console myself by thinking at least I will not look like a leather handbag at age 60. Perhaps this will help you.

I seriously quote Anchorman on a daily basis, whether aloud or just in my head. It’s good to know I’m not alone.
I too am pasty. I was out in the sun at the pool this past weekend and was applying and re-applying the sunblock every 20 minutes. And I still got a little burnt!
Also, just looking at Iggy makes me realize I need a break from pugs for a bit! :)
So beautiful! These snaps tell a happy, warm, lovely story.
I love all those photos feel like summer!
90 is way too hot for me as well. Sadly, in Richmond, Virginia we’ve been struck repeatedly with 102 and even 104 degree temps.
I really must get to Portland STAT.
