Behold: actual words I have written! Also behold: Nanowrimo kicking me in the face! (I have a bit of catching up to do.)

Iggy is rather indifferent, word count be what it may.

Tuesday night was a much needed girls night out with Ashley! wherein we relaxed with pedicures and ate a popcorn and Slurpee dinner while watching The Men Who Stare At Goats.*

Without posting any spoilers, while I thought Ewan McGregor was pretty great and there were definitely some hilarious lines and scenes, I can’t say I recommend the movie, at least, not to see in the theaters. My one sentence summary, as said to Ashley as the credits were rolling, “Um, I think we were supposed to have dropped some acid before we watched this.”
I took these two pictures before meeting my fun friend Mandy for lunch down by the waterfront on Wednesday:

The floor of my office building has bright orange carpet. I find it amusing.

Long hours at work = I apparently start laughing at carpet.
This last one is actually a snapshot of babycarrot sister’s week, all the way from South Korea. Photo by her rad husband, Vilhelm (Will), that I blatantly stole from their tumblr site.
She’s reading at their favorite local coffee shop.
She’s also lovely and I miss her. A lot. T-minus two and a half months and very much counting.
*I totally thought this movie was a documentary when Ashley first suggested it. SPOILER ALERT: It’s not a documentary.
The Polaroid Effect on all of the shots I took brought to you by the ShakeIt app on my iPhone.
My wedding photographer, Ashley? ;-) I need to work in Portland again so I can meet you for lunch.
I just downloaded ShakeIt. Woo!
NaNoWriMo is more of a NaBlowMw right now. It turns out that working three jobs and having a family takes a lot of time. You think I’d have learned that by now.
You thought it was a documentary? With Ewan McGregor?
You’re adorable.
;-)

In my cinematic defense I thought it was a documentary just based on the title, and then after watching the trailer realized I was very wrong. You know what I think the movie was missing? Seth Rogen.
Taylor wants to see it really bad and now I can talk him out of it! Thanks!:)
He has the worst taste in movies EVAH.
Not like us, with our Buffy and such.;)
OMG, that dog is freaking PERFECT
Write those words! You can do it! Perhaps it will distract you as I sneak into your living room and stuff Iggy into my purse. It’s extra roomy. He’ll be fine.
These pictures are so beautiful. I love walking through your week like this. Congrats on getting words down! And Iggy is about as cute as they come. Holy eyeballs.
I love how Iggy looks completely accusatory.
Go go Nanowrimo! Love the snapshot effect.
Love the waterfront shots!
And hey, NaNo is kicking everyone’s butt, lol. As long as you’re writing, I consider it a success.
Keep up the good writing work! I was planning on doing NaNoWriMo, but I’ve been too busy!
But you are awesome! And remember, it’s OK if you don’t hit the word limit. I mean better to write something interesting than just a lot of very, very, verys.
love the polaroid effect. And that carpet…wowza!
