Our Memorial Day weekend was spent floating lazily around a cozy lake in Washington State on my parents’ pontoon boat. We had no internet connection and absolutely nothing to do, only family to see and fish to (maybe) catch, and it was one of the most restful weekends I’ve had this year, minus the copious amounts of driving on Friday and Monday, that is. But we’ll just forget about that part for trip recounting purposes.
Rather than attempt to regale you with stories about us doing absolutely nothing beyond floating, sunbathing, fishing, floating, sunbathing, rinse wash repeat, here are (yep, you guessed it!) a few favorite pictures from the weekend:
Alluring (Heh; get it? OK, sorry. I couldn’t help myself.)

Sounds perfect. Would you please put Iggy in a box and send him to me? You can lie and tell him there’s sun here.

Also, my brother and his family just got a pug puppy! And I’ve never liked small dogs, but I LOVE PUGS NOW! So cute and she slept in my lap all day long!
